Design cycles
Design cycles provide a structured context for iterative engineering. A cycle can carry an objective, scope, stage and iteration state so work can be understood as part of a deliberate design process rather than a sequence of unrelated edits.
Iterations
Iterations capture repeated passes through a design cycle and their outcomes. Use them when comparing what changed, what was tested and whether the iteration achieved its intended result.
